The birth of the All New Honda BR-V began with the design of a concept car called New 7 Seater eXcitement aka N7X which was exhibited at Dreams Café, Senayan Park. Developed by Honda R&D Asia Pacific, This concept car was designed based on research into the tastes and needs of Indonesian families. This research covers the habits of Indonesian people in using cars, Consumer tastes in exterior and interior appearance, what features are needed, as well as various aspects that are the expectations of car users.
It is the habit of Indonesian people to visit family in distant places, was also one of the factors considered in the design process of the Honda N7X concept car. The very varied natural and road conditions in Indonesia also provide challenges in creating a comfortable car, while being tough in various conditions.
As one of the countries with the largest automotive market in the world, as well as the typical habits of consumers who have made cars part of their daily lifestyle, Indonesia is an important country in terms of developing the N7X Concept and even the models that will be developed from this concept in the future.
Honda N7X Concept Car Sambangi 4 Big city
After launching for the first time at Dreams Café Jakarta, the Honda N7X concept car continues its journey by visiting 4 big city in Indonesia. Trans Studio Mall Bandung was the first place visited 10 last June, then continued to three other places, namely DP Mall Semarang, Tunjungan Plaza 3 Surabaya to Trans Studio Mall Makassar which was the closing event 11 July 2021.
The Honda N7X concept car is displayed in a glass box display with transparent LED technology. It not only shows the original appearance of the car, This glass box can also display interesting visuals explaining the N7X concept car.
From the outside, The Honda N7X Concept features a sleek body with sharp lines, a sturdy bonnet and large tires to complete its strong yet elegant appearance. Dedicated to generation X families, This concept car is designed to combine the typical spaciousness of an MPV with the toughness and style of an SUV, while supporting a balanced lifestyle between personal activities and family togetherness.
The N7X Concept Car Changes Form to the All New Honda BR-V
After doing a roadshow to 4 big city in Indonesia, Finally, the initial concept offered by the Honda N7X was realized in the All New Honda BR-V.
Compared to its predecessor generation, The part that looks most different from the All New Honda BR-V is the size of the car, which is now larger with higher ground clearance. Besides that, The highest type of Honda BR-V is also equipped with the advanced safety feature Honda SENSING which was previously only available in premium car lines such as the Honda Accord, CR-V and Odyssey. This feature is also the first among all models in its class.
Apart from Honda SENSING, Various other advanced features have also been embedded, such as Honda LaneWatchTM, Remote Engine Start, Walk-Away Auto Lock, dan Smart Entry System. Thus, The All New Honda BR-V has created a new definition in the driving experience for a 7-seater LSUV in its class.
The All New Honda BR-V features a 1.5L DOHC i-VTEC engine which has been updated to produce maximum power 121 PS on 6.600 rpm and maximum torque 145 N.m on 4.300 rpm, which is powerful and remains comfortable for driving in various road conditions. The refined engine is also supported by a new CVT transmission system, produces better fuel efficiency and more powerful performance while being environmentally friendly with emission standards according to EURO standards 4.
