The limited edition BMW X3 and X4 cars have been officially released in Japan, namely the X3 M40d M Sport Edition and the X4 M40i M Sport Edition. The model commemorates the launch of the updated X3 and X4 in the cherry blossom country. Production will be limited only 40 unit up to 30 unit among them is the X3 model 4 0d M Sport Edition, whereas 10 the rest will be X4-based variants. Both feature custom section designs that look the same.
Reported by Carscopps, What attracts more attention is the BMW Individual Frozen Deep Gray Matte Black paint color scheme that has been applied to both models. The SUV also features M alloy wheels 20 inches in Jet Black color mounted on top of red M-Sport brake calipers. Besides that, BMW has equipped both with M carbon fiber mirror caps and extended BMW Individual Shadow Line trim. There is also an M multifunction steering wheel, and much more.
The completion model received M branded seat belts. BMW's 2.0-liter turbocharged engine was installed for the year 2022, powers the X3 sDrive model, X3 xDrive30i, dan X4 xDrive30i. This machine produces 248 horsepower (184 kilowatt) and torque 258 pound-feet (349 Newton-meter) The same. Acceleration 0-60 miles per hour (0-96,5 kilometer per jam) taken in 6 second. The top speed of both is 130 miles/hour (209 kilometer/hour). The BMW X3 M40i and X4 M40i received the engine 3,0 liter turbocharged inline-6. Coupled with mild hybrid technology 48 volts that produces 382 hp (284 kW) and torque 369 lb-ft (500 Nm). For sprint acceleration from 0 the 60 miles/hour takes time 4,4 second, with hybrid technology offering additional power 11 hp.
Some adjustments have also been made to the cabin thanks to the fitment of carbon fiber trim and black Verneska leather trim on the X3 M40d M Sport Edition model. The X4's interior also benefits greatly from some additional carbon fiber parts but features a combination of BMW Individual Fiona Red and Black merino leather, makes it much more striking. The BMW X3 and X4 range see these prices increase depending on the trim, although starting prices for M models remain unchanged. BMW X3 M starting price 69.900 dollar AS (IDR 997 million), with the X4 M costing 73.400 dollar AS (IDR 1 billion). All prices do not include destination charges 995 dollar AS (Rp. 14.2 million).
