Hyundai Motor Group's line of electric cars is growing, therefore KIA is promising 11 new electric vehicles in 2026 and Hyundai 23 in the year of 2025. KIA EV9 concept, which will be a large SUV like the Telluride, will be notified 11 November, while the Ioniq concept 7 will debut 17 November, at a car show in LA.
Hyundai Motor Group has given a new refresh to the Grandeur 1986. The electric Grandeur Heritage Series follows in the footsteps of the Pony Heritage Series 1986, which provided the design inspiration for the production of the Ioniq SUV 5. It has been designed to celebrate the launch of the original Grandeur, which is the Korean version of the Mitsubishi Debonair.
From the silhouette teaser that Kia shared on Instagram, we can see that the EV9 will have a similar boxy shape to the Telluride. Gambar Ioniq 7 indicating that it has a similar style to the Ioniq 5, and features a lounge-like interior with comfortable lighting elements. It's not yet clear whether the new EV will be a seven-seater like the Telluride and Palisade. The company's new line of electric cars will have a numeric naming scheme, and this SUV will join the Kia EV6 and Hyundai Ioniq models 5 available, both have a futuristic style.
The SUV will share an iteration of the group's E-GMP electric platform and should offer a single-motor powertrain or a dual-motor setup providing all-wheel drive. KIA EV6 and Hyundai Ioniq 5, along with other promised EVs, using a shared electric platform, and they offer manual or automatic transmission.
The KIA EV6 has two available battery packs providing a range of up to 300 miles already claimed. This car was produced probably debuting around the year 2022 and went on sale soon after.
