Toilets are facilities that are often used at public fuel filling stations (Gas Station). Usually if you use these facilities, especially those belonging to Pertamina, there are officers on guard and also a money box in front of the toilet.
The goal is that the money box in front is prepared as a place to pay after using the toilet.
Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir feels worried about the existence of paid toilets at private and non-private gas stations. The reason is that many people are worried about this, This made the Minister of BUMN comment by posting a video on his personal Instagram.
Erick said, Public facility services such as toilets should be free and not burden the public.
“To Pertamina's directors, I hope that public facilities such as toilets will be free, It's already a gas station business, and there is also a grocery store, People should get additional facilities for free” Erick said.
So how does Pertamina respond to this??
When confirmed, Corsec Subholding Commercial and Trading Pertamina Irto Ginting said, His party will carry out outreach to all gas station owners to make the use of toilets at gas stations free.
Free toilets will not only be realized at gas stations owned by Pertamina, but it will also be realized at private gas stations.
“It is the obligation of BUMN to provide the best service to the community. Hopefully, with the provision of free toilet facilities at petrol stations, people will feel comfortable when filling up with petrol” Erick concluded.
