OTODIVA — Not only cars, motorbikes and automotive knick-knacks that received blessings from the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show event (GIIAS) 2023. According to Suparno Djasmin as Astra Financial's Director-in-Charge revealed during 10 GIIAS event day 2023, all Astra Financial business units have generated transaction values that have increased by more than 50 percent over the previous year. Nine business units that are members of Astra Financial, namely FIFGROUP, Astra Credit Companies (ACC), Toyota Astra Finance (TAF), Astra Insurance, Astra Life, SEVA, AstraPay, Maucash, and Moxa comes with satisfactory performance.
“On GIIAS 2023, Astra Financial as a platinum sponsor along with nine of its business units managed to exceed the target with a recorded transaction value of IDR 2.385 trillion or an increase of 53% compared to the previous year. The number of achievements in the distribution was recorded at 6.820 Vehicle Order Letter (SPK) from targets 6.600 SPK or with an achievement of 103%,” Suparno said.
Previously, Suparno said, it targets a transaction value of IDR 2.3 trillion for GIIAS Jakarta and Surabaya. Whereas, until the closing of the event in Jakarta alone, the transaction value achieved had reached IDR 2.385 trillion or more 100% from the targets of Jakarta and Surabaya.
“This year is the fifth year that Astra Financial has acted as a platinum sponsor at the GIIAS event, which has been consistently carried out since 2018.” Suparno said.

During 11 GIIAS implementation day 2023 at ICE BSD Tangerang, all Astra Financial business units were able to show excellent performance.
Four Wheel Financing Business from Astra Financial
Transactions for four wheels recorded by Astra Financial through ACC and TAF on GIIAS 2023 increased by 53% or Rp. 2.361 trillion from 6.253 SPK compared to last year's GIIAS.
Two Wheel Financing Business
Meanwhile, transactions for two wheels conducted by FIFGROUP at GIIAS 2023 reached IDR 14.1 billion or increased 67,72% compared to last year's GIIAS. The motorcycle financing unit has also increased to 567 units from before 360 unit.
Insurance Business
On Astra Insurance vehicle protection, premium value recorded for cash purchase insurance at the GIIAS event 2023 reached IDR 2.278 billion. The figure goes up 114% compared to GIIAS 2022 which was recorded at IDR 1.064 billion.
As for Astra Life's soul protection, posted positive growth with a credit life insurance value of IDR 26.684 billion or an increase 122% compared to last year which only reached IDR 12.047 billion.
Digital Finance Business
SEVA managed to do more than 3.900 instant approval with an achievement of 390% from the set target.
Meanwhile, support for digital financial transactions from AstraPay also recorded positive achievements with the use of QRIS and top ups of more than 24.000 transaction (outside of online ticket transactions), far exceeded the target with an achievement of 155%. This achievement was also followed by a transaction value which reached IDR 1.242 billion or increased 114,57% compared to last year which was only IDR 579 million.
Besides that, Maucash, which is engaged in fintech P2P Lending, managed to record an increase 183,88% in the loan disbursement value to IDR 5.227 billion compared to GIIAS in 2022 which was only recorded at IDR 1.841 billion.
Moxa as a wealth-tech app from Astra Financial also achieved good numbers at the GIIAS event. The number of new account registrations has reached 1.734 account or amount 192,67% from the initial target.
