Otodiva – Great Wall Motors (GWM) Indonesia has confirmed the official launch of the locally assembled Haval Jolion HEV in the domestic market at the event GIIAS 2024. This SUV is ready to compete with the range of hybrid cars, the majority of which are dominated by Japanese manufacturers such as Toyota, Honda, Suzuki, and Nissan. GWM Indonesia Marketing Director, Arifianto Day, said that the Haval Jolion HEV was the manufacturer's first product to be assembled locally at the Wanaherang factory, Bogor, West Java. “Can, can now be ordered. The first delivery of the Haval Jolion HEV will take place this year, considering that production is ready to start in August 2024 or post-GIIAS exhibition. “The official price announcement will be made at GIIAS 2024. This car is included in the B-Segment and is currently positioned as Haval's cheapest product in Indonesia,” Hari said.
The Haval Jolion HEV is equipped with a capacity four-cylinder engine 1.500 cc turbo, combined with an electric motor and lithium ion battery, produces a power output of 139.000 watt. Haval Jolion HEV is claimed to have large torque with figures 375 Nm and fuel consumption efficiency reaches 5 liters each 100 kilometers or 1 liters each 20 kilometer. Other safety features embedded in this hybrid car from China include ADAS, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, blind spot monitoring, tire pressure sensor, as well as surveillance cameras 360 degrees.
