Otodiva – At the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2024 which lasted from 18 until 28 July, PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI) recorded impressive achievements. Total Vehicle Order Letters (SPK) registered reached 3.353 unit, indicates high interest from consumers in Mitsubishi products.
In the event, Mitsubishi introduced two of their newest products: Pajero Sport and Triton. The launch of these two models made a positive contribution to their total sales. However, What stole the most attention was the Xpander model, which continues to be Mitsubishi's mainstay.
The Xpander and Xpander Cross played a significant role in Mitsubishi's SPK achievements at GIIAS 2024. These two models account for approx 45 percent of the total recorded SPK. This figure shows how popular Xpander is among Indonesian consumers, who see it as an ideal family vehicle with an attractive design and advanced features.
Apart from Xpander, The Xforce compact SUV also played a big role in Mitsubishi's success at GIIAS 2024. Xforce contributed by 30 percent of the total SPK, shows that the compact SUV segment is also receiving great attention from exhibition visitors. With a sporty design and reliable performance, Xforce offers a solution for consumers looking for a vehicle with off-road capability and driving comfort.
Pajero Sport, which was launched at the same time as Triton, received a positive response from visitors. This model accounts for approx 22 percent of the total SPK. Pajero Sport is known for its tough capabilities and premium features, making it a popular choice among those looking for an SUV that can be relied on in a variety of road conditions.
Although most of the SPKs come from mainstream models such as the Xpander, Xpander Cross, and Pajero Sport, there are still around 3 percent of total sales coming from other Mitsubishi models. This shows that Mitsubishi's various models have their own appeal and contribute to the brand's overall success at the show.
