Otodiva—- PT Chery Sales Indonesia launched the Go Green Fund program with a fund allocation of IDR 100 billion. This program is part of Chery's global initiative, “For Us, For Future,” and aims to accelerate the transition to the use of electric cars in Indonesia, in line with the government's target to achieve Net Zero Emissions.
Through this program, Chery will support the conversion of thousands of petrol cars to electric cars, with financial assistance of Rp 50 million per unit. One of the models that is the focus of this program is the Chery OMODA E5, an electric vehicle that has gained recognition in the global market.
Rifkie Setiawan, Head of Brand Department PT Chery Sales Indonesia, said that this program was a form of Chery's concern for a greener future. “Chery is committed to supporting the transition to electric vehicles and helping consumers make the switch easily. Melalui Go Green Fund, We hope to make a real contribution to reducing exhaust emissions in Indonesia,” he said.
The Chery Go Green Fund program is in line with the Indonesian government's initiative to encourage the use of electric vehicles through various incentives, including tax relief. With the increasing development of electric vehicle technology, like that of the Chery OMODA E5, people can enjoy various benefits, including energy efficiency and emission reduction.
Chery OMODA E5 offers a mileage of up to 505 km (N.E.D.C) with low energy consumption, without exhaust emissions. Besides being environmentally friendly, This vehicle is also equipped with high performance, Responsive acceleration, and lower maintenance costs compared to petrol cars.
As part of the Chery Go Green Fund campaign, Chery will also educate consumers about the benefits of electric vehicles. This education covers various aspects, starting from the positive impact on the environment to the long-term savings that electric vehicle owners can enjoy.
Besides that, electric vehicles like the OMODA E5 have other advantages, like a smoother machine, not noisy, and more responsive acceleration. Consumers can also recharge energy at home, by installing a practical and efficient charger.
