Not only Pertamina gas stations are blue and red, but there is also a green Pertamina gas station, which makes a big difference from other Pertamina gas stations. PT Pertamina commercial and commercial sub-holding (Persero), PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, officially introduced 76 Green Energy Station (GES), which is also known as the Green Gas Station, spread across several regions. GES itself uses a solar power plant (PLTS) or solar power (PV) environmentally friendly energy source, so it is different from traditional gas stations, it is presented as an approach and contribution to downstream energy.
GES is a new integrated service with four main concepts, namely Green, Future, Digital, and High Tier Fuel which is designed to support the Grand National Strategy on energy transition programs and environmentally friendly operations. Solar PV has a major impact in reducing pollution, greenhouse effect, and increasing the efficiency of gas station operational costs. For gas stations with Solar PV capacity 6.3 kpp, average monthly savings is approx 12,5% of the total electricity used for operations.
GES also offers services that gas stations generally don't have, namely public electric vehicle charging stations (SPKLU) or charging stations and public electric vehicle battery exchange stations (SPBKLU). Besides that, to support the use of environmentally friendly energy, GES only provides Pertamax Series and Dex Series fuel. So therefore, GES does not sell Premium or Solar.
Green Energy Station will be a one stop energy solution that is environmentally friendly. We are moving towards an energy shift and we hope that GHGs in other regions will continue to accelerate the process and the presence of these GHGs will reduce carbon emissions by up to 29% in the year of 2030. Now, GES has officially spread to several regions, ie 3 point in Lampung, 43 point in Banten, DKI Jakarta and West Java, 13 points in Central Java and DI Yogyakarta, as well as 17 point in East Java, and there are special promotions for consumers at GES during the period 31 August to 30 September 2021, form 5.000 extra points, for 5.000 the first customer to transact using MyPertamina.
