On 3 September 2021, Honda appears to confirm what some fans have been hoping for some time. Namely CB1100, Although it is no longer sold in the US, as is often the case with many models, machine 1.140 The air-cooled four-cylinder CC proved more popular in other markets. So, there was no doubt when Honda made one simple post on its Twitter feed.
The post consists of two images and three lines of text. The first image depicts a rider wearing a vintage-style black motorcycle jacket and helmet, seen from behind. He pushed the CB1100 EX out of the garage, and the whole picture is shrouded in shadow. The text on the image is the same as the text on other posts, which sounds, “CB1100 EX/CB1100 RS Final Edition Coming soon…”
The second image is a closeup of the cooling fins on the cylinder head assembly, as seen in profile. No further details were provided by Honda at the time of this posting. Fortunately, it turns out fans won't have to wait long before they can see what this Final Edition is all about.
On 3 September 2021, Honda Taiwan officially announced the Honda CB1100 RS Final Edition 2021. The announcement also confirmed that Honda is discontinuing large-capacity air-cooled engines, which no longer meets various emissions requirements in markets around the world.
Honda Taiwan CB1100 RS Final Edition comes in two colors: Matte Denim Blue dan Honda Classic Red. Modern classic aesthetics are etched all over this bike, starting from the cafe racer style (like a tank shell) right down to the chrome accents and carefully placed round mirrors. The brown saddle on the Matte Denim Blue colorway is a very classy touch.
Although fans are hoping that CB1100 Final Editions will be launched in the market, looks like fans should let it go. Because, There is no further information about whether the CB1100 motorbike will be available on the market or not.
