Aurora Tech is a startup company (startup) which develops technology in the field of autonomous vehicles. The company has expanded truck testing and development to the Dallas-Fort Worth Area in Texas, AS. Is known, Aurora recently acquired Uber's self-driving division and partnered with Paccar. Due to its latest partnership with Volvo, now they partner with companies that sell almost control 50 percent truck Class 8 in the United States. The agreement will last for several years. Aurora was founded by former Google executives, Tesla, and Uber, including Chris Urmson, who helped pioneer Google's self-driving car initiative.

However, Aurora Tech is unlike some of its competitors. The company will provide autonomous cargo truck and robotaxi services, saying the combination would lower costs. Aurora also believes it provides a larger revenue stream, and enable technology transfer. Aurora Tech's self-driving truck aims to build a profitable and scalable business that funds further development of ride-hailing services and lowers hardware costs.

Autonomous vehicle company (OF) have yet to generate significant revenue even though investors have poured billions of dollars into their development. Truck drivers currently contribute more than 40% cost per mile, however they can only drive no more than 11 hours per day. These limitations do not apply to automated trucks.

Aurora expects its technology to be integrated into the class of trucks 8 Volvo and Paccar at the end of the year 2023. These autonomous trucks will soon operate autonomously on highways and expressways. Not only that, These trucks will also generate revenue per mile for Aurora. After this autonomous truck is released and fully operational in 2018 2023, Aurora Tech will also plan to release a robotaxis which will follow a year later. Aurora Tech has forecast the global truck market, has a huge opportunity. This is what car manufacturers like GM do, Tesla and Volkswagen also continue to invest billions in developing autonomous vehicles.
