The Honda City Hatchback RS won the award as Car of the Year at the Gridoto Award event 2021 held virtually on the date 7 November 2021 on the Gridoto YouTube channel & Automotive TV. Launched last May, The Honda City Hatchback RS appears with a sporty design, the latest features and the largest powerful engine in its class.
The Honda City Hatchback RS was selected as Car of the Year based on a judging process by experienced testers. The things assessed in this event include several aspects such as features, performance to the value for money of a car.
Apart from the Honda City Hatchback RS, Honda also succeeded in achieving 16 other awards at the Gridoto Award event 2021, Among them is the Honda Brio which won the award as the best model in the Compact Hatchback class, The Honda City Hatchback won the award as the best model in the Small Hatchback class, The Honda Civic Sedan won the award as the best model in the Medium Sedan class, and the Honda CR-V which won the award as the best model in the Medium SUV class.
Honda also won an award in the Total Cost Ownership category which is assessed based on the total costs incurred for use in the period 1 year or 20.000 km, which includes, among other things, fuel consumption, service fees, and total tax costs in a year. For this category, 6 Honda's product is the Honda Brio Satya, Honda Civic Hatchback RS, Honda Civic Sedan, Honda Accord, Honda Mobilio and Honda BR-V were named the best in their class.
Meanwhile, the other category is Best Resale Value, which is assessed based on how good the resale value of a car is on the market. As much 5 Honda won the award for this category, namely the Honda Brio, Honda Civic Hatchback, Honda City, The Honda Civic Sedan and Honda CR-V were named the best in their class. Besides that, Honda also won the Special Award category as Digital Content of the Year.
