The LDV T60 has been winning over more and more ute buyers for years. Now it's time for an update, lencana T60 Max . The new model has a redesigned front end, a much needed new center touchscreen, and a new, much larger bi-turbo diesel engine with the option of an eight-speed automatic.
As usual, it has been offered as an alternative to a used Ranger or HiLux – vehicles which currently seem to depreciate very slowly or fellow cheap pickups the GWM Ute and SsangYong Musso .
The LDV T60 is part of the SAIC Motor group, China's largest automaker, and distributed throughout Australia by Ateco. The popularity of the LDV T60 has grown since its launch in 2017, the company has sold 5.187 LDV T60 car this year, and confirmed that sales of the T60 this year are up 59 percent.
This ute has a fuel supply pegged on 9,2 liters per 100km for manual, and 9.3L/100km for the automatic, while carbon dioxide emissions are rated at 243 and 244 grams per kilometer. Drive is sent to all four wheels, with each variant also featuring a 2WD mode, 4WD-high dan 4WD-low, and LDV claims that the T60 Max's suspension has been designed for Australian conditions. The T60 Max also displays the approach angle, departure and breakover respectively 27, 24,2 and 21,2 degrees, while maximum wading depth is also rated at 550mm.
The LDV T60 has an engine that will allow a payload capacity of 925kg in the Pro and 750kg in the Luxe, while braked towing capacity is 3000kg for all T60 Max grades. Standard equipment includes LED daytime running lights, cruise control, control climate, choose 17 inci, Cloth interior and heavy duty suspension. Multimedia handling is a touch screen 10,25 inch with Apple CarPlay functionality, Bluetooth connectivity, and six speaker output.
On the safety front, The T60 Max comes standard with six airbags, hill descent control, rear parking sensors, reverse camera, driver fatigue warning, and tire pressure monitoring.
