Honda recently re-introduced the All New Civic Sedan in 28 April 2021 of Torrance, California. This car offers a sporty and modern interior design combined with driver-centric high technology and is equipped with a sophisticated security system.
Reporting from Honda, The 11th Generation All New Civic Sedan is planned to be marketed in 2022 coming to the American market. In designing this car, Honda is trying to create a car that will be an innovation in its segment by revisiting timeless design concepts like the previous Civic generation.
The car body with the "Thin and Light" concept appears to have a low hood and front feder, as well as low horizontal lines lining the body that accentuate the wheels and tires making the car feel more spacious.
In the interior, with the “Man-Maximum” approach, Machine-Minimum” delivers the typical value of a very simple classic Civic, clean and modern.
With a neat cabin design from the initial generation of the Civic, The new model's interior features excellent visibility, Intuitive ergonomics and driver-focused technology. For the first time on a Civic car, Honda provides a digital instrument display with a wide, color touch screen.
The All New Civic Sedan has several types, including LX and Sport types with engines 4 cylinder 2.0 liters that produce 158 HP on 6.500 rpm. Meanwhile, the EX and Touring types have engines 1.5 liter turbo 4 generating cylinder 180 HP on 6.000 rpm.
On safety features, The All New Civic Sedan introduces several new active and passive safety systems. First time in the world, Frontal airbags are designed to reduce conditions associated with brain injury by better controlling head movement in certain types of crashes.
The Honda SENSING feature is also embedded in this car by adding Traffic Jam Assist and a new camera-based system that improves existing functionality, such as more natural brake application and quicker reactions when using Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) dan Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS). With the addition of eight sonar sensors, Civic models also feature Low-Speed Braking Control for the first time.
