Otodiva – Honda will debut their newest line of electric car models, Yesterday Series (Ye), for the Chinese market at the 18th Beijing International Automotive Exhibition (China Auto 2024) on 25 April – 4 Mei 2024. At the event, Honda will officially show the first three models of the Yè Series, yakni Yesterday P7, Yes S7, dan Yè GT CONCEPT. The entire Yè Series line is planned to be introduced to the Chinese market in 2027.
Nama “烨 (Yesterday)” yang dipilih untuk seri mobil listrik baru Honda ini memiliki makna “bersinar cemerlang”, reflects Honda's desire for every individual who rides a Yè Series model to be able to express themselves through the joy of driving, with each person shining in their own uniqueness. The Yè Series is Honda's latest initiative in the electrification of its car products in China, after previously presenting the e Series:N.
Yè Series will introduce a new H logo designed specifically for the latest electric vehicles, with a focus on providing added value for customers. This series is designed to provide a better driving experience, by offering enhanced driving performance, new dedicated EV platform, and the latest electrification technology. With the application of artificial intelligence technology (AI), The Yè Series will provide driving comfort for all passengers.
The Honda Yè P7 and Yè S7 will be available in rear-wheel drive variations with one electric motor, two motorbikes, and four-wheel drive. The rear-wheel drive variation is aimed at a sporty and sharp driving experience, while four-wheel drive is offered for high power and responsive handling. Both offer a spacious cabin for front and rear passenger comfort. The Yè P7 and Yè S7 are expected to be available for sale by the end of the year 2024.
Meanwhile, Honda Yè GT CONCEPT carries a low and wide concept design, in accordance with the Grand Tourer concept. The low driver's seat design provides an immersive driving experience, similar to the sensation of racing. Its dynamic performance has been enhanced to provide the best driving experience where the driver truly feels connected to the vehicle. The Honda Yè GT CONCEPT is expected to be available for sale before the end of the year 2025.
Honda has a global goal to achieve carbon neutrality for all products and corporate activities involving Honda by year 2050. To achieve this goal, Honda plans to introduce the total 10 Honda brand electric vehicle models in China in 2027, and strive to make electric vehicles representative 100% car sales in China in 2035.
