Otodiva – PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID) confirms its commitment to ensuring customer safety and comfort by holding a recall for units Hyundai IONIQ 5 dan IONIQ 6 which has been circulating in Indonesia since its launch. This recall aims to update the software on the Integrated Charge Control Unit components (ICCU) Hyundai IONIQ falls 5 dan IONIQ 6 to improve the quality of battery charging in electric vehicles so that it is more optimal.

This time, we invite Hyundai IONIQ owners 5 dan IONIQ 6 in Indonesia to update the ICCU component software to get a smoother and more optimal battery charging experience. We will also continue to monitor software updates on Hyundai electric vehicles regularly to provide peace of mind to all our customers.”
The recall campaign process includes checking and processing which only takes approx 20 minutes and carried out by certified technicians from Hyundai Global. Customers can update the software easily at authorized Hyundai dealers and will not be charged at all.
HMID has informed customers of this recall campaign activity through various communication channels, including official letters, mass media, and Hyundai's official website. HMID call center also actively contacts customers, especially IONIQ owners 5 dan IONIQ 6 who need to update the software on the ICCU components, to be directed to the nearest dealer. Customers can also obtain further information by contacting the Hyundai Call Center at 0 800 1 878 878 (toll free).
