Otodiva – Hyundai has launched the all-new KONA Electric in Indonesia in 17 July 2024, at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS). This launch marks a new history as an Electric Vehicle (EV) the first to use batteries made in Indonesia with the highest level of local components. Hyundai shows its commitment to supporting the development of the domestic battery industry, paving the way for the future of vehicle electrification in Indonesia.

The all-new KONA Electric brings a breath of fresh air to the Indonesian automotive industry with various advanced features, one of them is Hyundai Bluelink. As an innovative connected car service, Hyundai Bluelink is specifically designed to increase safety, facility, and pleasure in driving.

Advanced Safety with Hyundai Bluelink

One of the main priorities in driving is safety. Hyundai Bluelink is now equipped with a View Around My Vehicle feature which provides a view 360 degrees from various viewing angles when the vehicle is locked. If an incident occurs, Users will get notifications via the Hyundai Bluelink application, allowing them to see images of the car's situation such as CCTV in their hands.

Hyundai Bluelink also offers Auto Collision Notification (ACN), a feature that automatically sends notifications to the Hyundai Call Center if an accident occurs. For example, if the airbag deploys, ACN will notify Hyundai Call Center, and the operator will immediately contact the user to provide the necessary assistance.

Besides that, Other safety features include Stolen Vehicle Notification, which gives a warning if there is an attempt to force the car door to open, and Stolen Vehicle Tracking which tracks cars using location and route information. There is also Stolen Vehicle Immobilization which can stop the car completely after the request is verified by the Hyundai Call Center.

For added convenience, The Hyundai Bluelink application will provide notifications if the driver forgets to close the door, hood, luggage, or sunroof, or when the vehicle battery charge exceeds the specified power.

Maximum Comfort with Hyundai Bluelink Connectivity

Hyundai Bluelink on the all-new KONA Electric is not just a navigation system. Its features allow users to control various vehicle functions remotely, so driving becomes more comfortable. With Remote Start and Stop Climate Control features, Users can set the cabin temperature before entering the vehicle, Avoid the hot sun in the car.

Fitur Scheduled Charging & Climate Control allows users to schedule charging and set cabin temperature, ensure the EV battery is always ready for use. Users can also monitor energy consumption and vehicle power efficiency through the EV Service feature, which provides detailed information regarding energy usage.

Fitur Vehicle to Load (V2L) allows users to power electronic devices outside the vehicle, while the Charging Status feature provides information regarding charging status and battery level. The Hyundai Bluelink application also provides vehicle odometer information, allows owners to check mileage and get periodic service reminders.

Advanced Navigation with Hyundai Bluelink

Hyundai Bluelink ensures that the all-new KONA Electric is a reliable travel companion with complete navigation features. The Search Nearby feature allows users to find charging stations, parking lot, shopping center, and the nearest place to eat. This information is integrated with the Send to Car feature, which sends the destination location from the application to the vehicle.

The EV Driving Range feature shows how far the vehicle can go with the available battery capacity, while Previous Destinations makes it easy for users to return to previously visited locations.

Integrated Innovation with Hyundai Bluelink

Hyundai Bluelink also allows users to update vehicle software directly via over-the-air technology (OTA), ensure the system is always up-to-date without having to go to a repair shop. Besides that, Users can control the vehicle via voice commands with the Voice Command feature, and the app also includes a weather forecast for the next six days.
