Otodiva – Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM) again recorded brilliant achievements in the year 2024. From January to August, Daihatsu succeeded in selling 117.358 unit mobil. This figure strengthens Daihatsu's position as one of the main players in the Indonesian automotive industry, with a market share of 20,1% of the total national sales reached 580.000 unit. In the cheap, environmentally friendly vehicle segment (LCGC), Daihatsu Sigra emerged as the favorite with the largest sales contribution.

There's no denying it, Daihatsu Sigra become the backbone of company sales, with notches 38.837 units or approx 33% of Daihatsu's total sales. This car has long been a popular choice, especially among young families who need a functional and cost-effective vehicle. Besides that, model Gran Max Pick Up contribute 28.222 units or 24%, proving its popularity in the commercial segment. Model Daihatsu Terios, which is in the SUV segment, also managed to record sales of 14.221 unit, contribute 12% of total sales.

Further, Daihatsu also dominates in various other segments. In the LCGC MPV market, Win master 60% of total sales, temporary Gran Max Pick Up leads in the low pick-up segment by share 56%. In the Low Semi Commercial segment, Big Max Mini Bus stands out with a contribution of 92%, achieved as many sales as possible 9.488 unit. This achievement emphasizes Daihatsu's commitment to meeting consumer needs in various market segments.

Interestingly, Daihatsu sales in August 2024 also recorded an increase of 2,1% compared to the previous month. This shows that even though the national automotive market only increased by 1,6%, Daihatsu is able to maintain its growth momentum. This increase cannot be separated from Daihatsu's strategy of providing various conveniences for consumers, starting from purchasing a vehicle on flexible credit through a leasing company, easy to access after sales service, to exchange facilities for old vehicles with new Daihatsu cars.

Towards the end of the year, Astra Daihatsu is again pampering its consumers with DAIFEST 2024, a sales promotion program that lasts until 31 December 2024.
