According to a recent report, The Tesla Model S has beaten the Porsche Taycan's lap time record at the Nurburgring track.

It seems that Tesla is starting to want to be on the competitive path. Not long after the electric car maker revealed that it had secured the fastest time for a four-door sedan at Laguna Seca.

It is also reported that Tesla is already eyeing the Porsche Taycan's Nurburgring record for the fastest electric car. And that is proven by the news that Tesla has conquered that record thanks to its newest Model S prototype.

Porsche also announced the Taycan as the fastest four-door electric sedan around The Green Hell in August shortly before the car's official debut.

Taycan records lap times 7 minute 42 seconds which is the fastest time for any vehicle, especially for the four-door EV model. And recently there was a report from the German car magazine Auto Motor Und Sport that the Tesla model S has passed that record with lap times. 7 minute 23 seconds in unofficial time.

The Tesla model S itself has three electric motors with an all-wheel drive system, aka All-Wheel Drive (AWD). The power output of the S model is also quite fierce for an electric sedan class, something 1.100 dk.

For performance matters, The Tesla Model S is claimed to be able to accelerate from 0 fall 96 km/hour in just under 2 seconds and the top speed reaches at 320 km/hour.

The same source also said that the official record breaking would be carried out twice again, namely on Wednesday night, and the second on saturday. It's worth looking forward to the competition between these two electric cars, whether Tesla will succeed in beating Taycan's record.
