PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) and PT Blue Bird Tbk continue their collaboration which allows Bluebird taxi orders to be integrated into the KAI Access application.

Through this collaboration, People who order train tickets via the KAI Access application can add the Bluebird taxi service (in the Service options menu) before making payment. This collaboration is also the first multi-modal transportation integration in Indonesia which includes service integration to the payment system.

This launch is a continuation of the collaboration between KAI and Bluebird which includes First Mile, namely pick-up transportation from the starting location to the departure station. Previously on 16 September 2020, KAI and Bluebird have introduced Last Mile services or transportation from the arrival station to the destination location.

The wider reach of collaboration is believed to be able to increase accessibility, facility, and convenience of mobility for people using mass transportation, as well as a concrete manifestation of improving the quality of land transportation services through digital transformation collaboration between the two companies.

President Director of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero), Didiek Hartantyo, revealed that the launch of the First Mile service will provide even easier accessibility, integration, and convenience for KAI customers to use Bluebird taxis.

Didiek also hopes that the synergy between KAI and Bluebird will continue to produce innovations to expand the service features available in the KAI Access application. The goal is to provide comfort, trust, and safety for customers.

This service can only be used for Long Distance Train services. Ordering First Mile and Last Mile services on the KAI Access Application can be made at the same time as ordering train tickets, or separately from ordering train tickets.

Orders for additional taxi services are made together with train tickets, done on the Order Details page, then select additional taxi services via the “Taxi” menu.

If done separately from ordering train tickets, then first select the train ticket booking code to which the First Mile and Last Mile services will be added, then on the Ticket Details page select the "service" menu and then select the "Taxi" menu.

On this collaboration, KAI Access users can enjoy the Fixed Price feature from Bluebird which is able to maximize comfort when traveling.

The Fixed Price feature provides a fixed price scheme to users regardless of the uncertain situation on the roads, including traffic jams, providing extra peace of mind from the first mile or last mile to your destination.

Currently the First Mile and Last Mile services can be used for departure and arrival stations, namely Gambir, Monday market, Bandung, Semarang Tawang, Semarang Poncol, Yogyakarta, Surabaya Gubeng and Surabaya Pasar Turi. In the future, the number of serving stations will be increased gradually.
