CARRO is optimistic about the growth of the used car industry in Indonesia. According to the Indonesian Automotive Industry Association (Gaikindo), retail sales January-June 2021 reach 393.436 unit, increased 50% compared to last year and is predicted to increase further as the economy in Indonesia recovers.

To strengthen market position and expand products in the Indonesian market, CARRO will increase its financial services portfolio by expanding financing beyond in-house loans, and accelerate the development of AI capabilities (Artificial Intelligent).

In the future, application of AI technology (Artificial Intelligent) this will be implemented into almost every stage of car buying and selling, starting from detecting defect during the inspection process of cars sold through CARRO, to bots for customer service so that they can provide consumers with complete and transparent services in the transaction process.

Meanwhile, to further improve services to consumers, CARRO presents a car protection service entitled “CAR Insurance”, namely usage-based insurance programs or Usage Based Insurance.

This program will generally measure speed, consumption per day, use of mobile phones while driving, acceleration, hard braking, hard cornering, and miles driven, so it will be seen how well the car is used to determine insurance rates. If the consumer drives the car well, then insurance rates will be more affordable.

This measurement is carried out by applying telematic technology which is connected to the GPS device found in the consumer's car or smartphone. This technology will function automatically when the "CARRO Insurance" application is connected to a Bluetooth device or activates navigation services on a smartphone.

In order to provide additional benefits to consumers, during September 2021, CARRO held a program Overtrade Vaganza. This program is the first exchange system in Indonesia, where CARRO offers a higher selling price of up to Rp 20.000.000 compared to market prices for consumers who trade in cars at CARRO.

To date, CARRO has succeeded in serving the demand for quality used cars from various regions in Indonesia, including sending consumers' dream cars to areas outside Java.

To improve services and reach more Indonesian people, CARRO will open CARRO Automall and Customer Experience Centre (CEC) Of 4 big city in Indonesia, covers Semarang, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, and Palembang until the end of the year 2021.
