Otodiva – Grab Indonesia officially launched the Grab Security and Safety Center for Travelers (Grab Tourism Safety & Security Center). This page provides various important information such as emergency contacts, addresses of police offices and embassies, hospital, as well as telephone connections 24 hours for reports of sexual assault. This service is available not only in Jakarta, but also in eight other cities, namely Yogyakarta, Labuan Bajo, While, Batam, Surabaya, Bandung, Lombok, and Manado. Users can access this page via the Grab application or the link grb.to/ Pusatkeamananturisjakarta which is available in various languages including Indonesian, English, Mandarin, and Korea, and other foreign languages will be added.
Heru Budi Hartono, Acting Governor of Jakarta, state, “Jakarta sebagai kota metropolitan terbesar di Indonesia telah menjadi tujuan utama bagi turis mancanegara dan domestik. Therefore, "It is important to provide security and safety guarantees so that tourists feel comfortable while traveling and can enjoy the uniqueness of various tourist destinations." Heru added that Jakarta is also a favorite destination for business tourism, with the number of tourists reaching 10.524.565 from January to May 2024. “Kami mengapresiasi inisiatif Grab ini. Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia, Sandiaga Uno, state, “We witnessed the launch of the first Security and Safety Center for Tourists in Bali last year, and appreciate Grab's ongoing commitment to strengthening the tourism sector with this feature in various favorite tourist cities. Improve safety and security, and easy access to tourist destinations through transportation services are the main keys to building tourist trust. This step will greatly contribute to achieving the target 14,3 million foreign tourists and 1,25-1,5 miliar pergerakan wisatawan nusantara di tahun 2024.”
Ratna Susianawati, Deputy for Women's Rights Protection, the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (Ministry of PPPA) Republic of Indonesia, also expressed his appreciation for Grab's initiative. “Keterbatasan akses terhadap kontak darurat masih menjadi hambatan dalam pengendalian dan pencegahan kekerasan seksual. The presence of this page will really help increase public awareness of the protection of vulnerable groups, especially women and children. Connection to SAPA 129 and telephone 24 jam khusus laporan kekerasan seksual di laman ini merupakan langkah signifikan dalam memastikan bantuan dapat diakses kapan saja.”
Kwok Fook Seng, Singapore Ambassador to Indonesia, praised Grab's initiatives that strengthen the tourism sector and create a sense of security. “I would like to congratulate Grab on this extraordinary initiative. As part of the diplomatic community, I am very pleased that the Grab Security and Safety Center for Travelers includes a list of diplomatic missions in Jakarta and other areas in Indonesia. As a Grab user, I have seen firsthand the function of this feature. This sense of security is certainly very influential in increasing tourism," he said.

To date, Grab Security and Safety Center for Travelers is available in ten cities in Indonesian, English, Mandarin, and Korea. Grab will continue to develop this feature to reach wider areas. Neneng explained further, “Apart from launching this page, we have also taken significant steps to improve user security and safety, such as presenting the Audio Protect feature which records Driver Partner and User conversations, holding Safety Training for hundreds of thousands of Driver Partners, as well as requiring anti-sexual violence training for all driver partners."

To access services from this page, Tourists only need to do the following steps via the Grab application:
- Open the Grab application on your cellphone.
- Log in to your Profile account, then select the Help Center section.
- Select the Grab Security and Safety Center for Travelers article and you will be redirected to the main page.
- Users can choose the assistance they need, such as the Grab Call Center, emergency contact, addresses of police stations and embassies, addresses of health facilities and teleconsultation via GrabHealth, as well as the Friends and Children hotline (SAPA) 129.
When searching for the location of a police station or health facility, Users simply press the Motorbike or Car icon to order Grab transportation services to that destination.
